Crystal Palace vs Lech Poznan prediction
English teams have been thriving in European competitions recently, getting to the finals, Villa in the Europa League final last season and Palace of course winning the Conference League Final last season gaining entry into the Europa.
This will be the first game of the new Europa League campaign and Palace are huge favourites to beat Lech Poznan.
Palace just lost 3-2 to Ipswich Town after Axel Disasi was sent off in the 34th minute, they not only managed to get back from 2-1 down to 2-2 and hold on until the 90th minute before conceding the deciding goal for Ipswich.
Jorgen Strand Larsen scored with 15 minutes to go while Anan Khalaili scored in the first 15.
They were solid enough with ten men and now they face a team who are not regarded as strong as Ipswich, so it should be theirs for the taking.
Crystal Palace vs Lech Poznan betting tips
Larsen key
Strand Larsen scored 14 goals in the Premier League for Wolves but has yet to follow up that kind of form.
But he's bagged a goal in his first four appearances for Palace this season in the Premier League and has three from just 14 appearances for the Eagles in the latter half of last season, plus a brace in the EFL Cup, making him their main contender for goals in this clash.
Goals
Palace also have a fair few options off the bench and in typical European Cup standards there could be a couple of late ones.
Especially if the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Ismaila Sarr are introduced as substitutions late on and make an instant impact.
They are short prices to score anytime as they are huge odds-on favourites to win, so betting on those kind of scorelines should pay out even better.
