The Washington Commanders experienced an eventful day amid their Week 1, 24-22 road loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that had fans, media and players talking about one play in particular. Daniels played just seven games last season due to myriad injuries and made his presence felt in Week 1's return to the field, going 18-for-34 passing with 164 yards and two passing touchdowns. Quinn's team got balance in the running game from Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who ran 16 times for 63 yards and one touchdown.

Diggs' celebration won't be forgotten anytime soon by fans who demand the highest level play from a franchise that has won five championships in its long, storied history and plays in one of football's toughest divisions. The Eagles got the better of Diggs, Quinn, Daniels and the Commanders, but the mature and measured responses after the game show that they are ready to put the loss behind them starting in Week 2 against the Cowboys in Dallas.
