The Indianapolis Colts took on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 2. Indianapolis lost in Week 1 and had to face a ton of criticism around their defense. On Sunday, though, the Colts had a chance to beat the Chiefs thanks to a controversial Laquon Treadwell catch.
The Colts had the ball down three against the Chiefs in overtime. Daniel Jones uncorked a throw deep downfield that was caught by Treadwell. He went to the ground, got up, and then had the ball punched out. After a lengthy review, Treadwell was called down by contact.
In the end, this game did not turn out well for the Colts. Despite Treadwell's catch setting them up in the red zone, Indianapolis failed to make anything of it. Jones scrambled for positive yards on third down after two negative plays. Then, they kicked a field goal to tie it 30-30.
