Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season didn’t have a ton of fireworks, as lower-scoring games and injuries impacted a good chunk of the Sunday slate. However, there were a few surprising losses by teams, impacting the Week 5 NFL Power Rankings, starting at the top.
Check out ClutchPoints' Week 5 NFL Power Rankings to see where your team lands.
1. San Francisco 49ers (+2)
The Week 5 NFL Power Rankings have a new leader, as a Week 4 win over the Denver Broncos catapults the undefeated San Francisco 49ers into the top spot. It wasn’t any sort of crazy showing by the SF offense this week, but a late touchdown by George Kittle on a screen proved to be enough in the win.

2. Buffalo Bills (-1)
Losing DJ Moore was a precursor to a Week 4 loss for the Buffalo Bills, as there continues to be something wrong with the offense. Josh Allen accounted for two touchdowns in the loss, but was uncharacteristically limited in the run game, only rushing for four yards. As the lone AFC East team above .500, Buffalo has some leeway to figure things out, but their offense needs to all get on the same page, especially in the passing game.
3. Los Angeles Rams (+1)
Welcoming Puka Nacua back was exactly what the Los Angeles Rams needed in Week 4, as strong showings from Nacua (125 receiving yards, one rushing TD) and Kyren Williams (147 total yards, two rushing TDs) helped LAR get to .500. It was an off day for Matthew Stafford in the Rams’ win over the Philadelphia Eagles, as he threw for 317 yards with two costly interceptions.
4. Seattle Seahawks (+1)
The Seattle Seahawks remain undefeated at home after their Week 4 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and the well-balanced effort on offense was just what the doctor ordered. Sam Darnold threw two touchdowns in the win, connecting with Emanuel Wilson and Tory Horton, and Wilson stepped into the RB1 role and ran for 81 yards and a touchdown.
With rookie Jadarian Price on IR, Wilson looks to be the next man up for the Seattle run game, and his first attempt at holding down the backfield was a strong showing.
5. Kansas City Chiefs (+6)
In the battle of the undefeated AFC West, the Kansas City Chiefs staved off a late-game comeback and moved to 4-0 on the year. A road win over the Las Vegas Raiders was in large part to Kenneth Walker III, as the former Seahawk ran for 177 yards and two touchdowns. Tyquan Thornton, who was lost to an injury, was Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target, as he caught five passes for 111 yards and two scores before leaving.
6. Chicago Bears (no change)

Two consecutive weeks, two consecutive wins for the Chicago Bears without Caleb Williams, and Tyson Bagent stepped into the QB1 role against the New York Jets.
A week after Case Keenum beat Father Time and the Eagles, Bagent stepped into the spotlight in Week 4; while throwing for 268 scoreless yards and an interception isn’t much to write home about, the run game (Kyle Monangai scored twice) and the defense (12 points allowed with three sacks) stepped up.
7. Jacksonville Jaguars (no change)
The Jacksonville Jaguars earned an important road win in Week 4, going into Cincinnati and earning a 22-17 victory. It wasn’t the greatest showing for the JAX offense in the win, but they were able to control the clock via the ground game, as Bhayshul Tuten and Chris Rodriguez combined for 108 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
8. Baltimore Ravens (no change)

A Week 4 win was clouded by a Lamar Jackson injury for the Baltimore Ravens, as Jackson was knocked out of Sunday’s game with a left ankle injury. Sitting out the entire second half, Jackson’s status for Baltimore’s Week 5 game is up in the air; if he is unable to suit up, long-time backup Tyler Huntley will get a chance against the Atlanta Falcons.
9. Denver Broncos (-7)
A non-contact ankle injury suffered by star cornerback Patrick Surtain II just scratches the surface of things that went wrong for Denver in Week 4. Surtain, Riley Moss, and Pat Bryant all left DEN’s loss to the Niners and didn’t return, making the loss even worse.
10. Minnesota Vikings (+2)
The upstart Minnesota Vikings currently sit atop the NFC North at an undefeated 4-0 record, having beaten the hapless Miami Dolphins, 15-10. Five field goals from Will Reichard and a strong defense did the trick, as Minnesota is surprisingly sitting atop their division.
Reichard knocked through field goals from 47, 50, 33, 41, and 29 yards, with four of five scoring drives going 10-plus plays, as the Vikings climb into the top-10 of the Week 5 NFL Power Rankings.
11. Detroit Lions (-2)
A late-game comeback came up short for the Detroit Lions, as their road loss to the Carolina Panthers dropped them to 2-2 on the season. The DET offense just wasn't able to string together enough scoring drives in the first half, forcing Jared Goff and company to play catch-up. The Lions have a chance to get right in Week 5 against the Cardinals, their final game before their bye week.
12. Philadelphia Eagles (-2)
The loss of DeVonta Smith was quite obvious for the Philly passing attack, as Jalen Hurts failed to throw for 100 yards in the loss. While he did connect with Darius Cooper on two touchdown passes, Hurts was the biggest loser in a rough showing from the entire Eagles offense.
Combine that with injuries to both Saquon Barkley and Tank Bigsby, and it was the perfect storm for the Eagles to lose a 10-point lead against the Rams and drop to 2-2.
13. New England Patriots (+1)
Three touchdown passes from Drake Maye, two of which went to Romeo Doubs, helped the New England Patriots earn their first road win of the 2026 NFL season. Doubs, doing his best job to fill in for the injured A.J. Brown, caught six passes for 58 yards in the win, while leading the team in targets with nine.
A late scoring connection from Maye to Efton Chism proved to be the difference, as the Patriots now sit at 2-2 on the year, helping stop the conversations about the sky falling.

What a catch by Efton Chism III to take the lead!

14. Las Vegas Raiders (+2)

The undefeated start to the season is no more for the Raiders, but they absolutely put up a fight in their Week 4 loss to the Chiefs. With a shot to at least tie the game late in the fourth quarter, a Kirk Cousins turnover squashed those chances.
The passing attack was led by the tight ends, as Ian Thomas and Brock Bowers both caught touchdowns, while Michael Mayer chipped in 82 receiving yards in the loss.
15. New Orleans Saints (Monday Night Football)
The New Orleans Saints are looking to win a key NFC South battle in Week 4, as they face off against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The Tyler Shough-Chris Olave connection has been great this year, as both players have been the key cogs keeping Kellen Moore’s offense afloat, especially with the issues and injuries that the run game has faced.
16. New York Giants (+5)
The New York Giants are now 3-1 on the year, with all three wins coming at home, and their Week 4 home win over the Arizona Cardinals was due mostly to their offense deciding to show up. Jameis Winston threw three touchdowns, Malik Nabers caught six passes for 112 yards and a score, and a pick-six on the last play of the game put a cherry on top of a strong performance on both sides of the ball, as the Giants climb five spots in the Week 5 NFL Power Rankings.

17. Dallas Cowboys (+1)
The Dallas Cowboys came out on top in the battle for Texas, as a monstrous performance from CeeDee Lamb led the way. Lamb saw 21 targets in the win, catching 17 for 189 yards and a game-winning touchdown, leading the Cowboys to a much-needed win, helping them get to 2-2.

18. Carolina Panthers (+4)

The Panthers put on a show on Sunday Night Football, holding on for a 32-26 win over the Lions. The Bryce Young-Tetairoa McMillan combination was on full display in the win, with Young throwing for 329 yards and two scores, while McMillan continued the strong WR play in Week 4 with 14 catches for 192 yards and two TDs.
19. Cincinnati Bengals (-6)
A Ja’Marr Chase concussion threw the Cincy offense all out of sorts in Week 4, and a late injury to Tee Higgins put the WR room in shambles. Another herculean performance from Joe Burrow (428 passing yards) was all for nothing, as a failed fourth-down conversion attempt to Chase Brown came up a yard short, and JAX ran out the clock.
20. Green Bay Packers (-1)
It was far from pretty, but the Green Bay Packers went on the road and pulled out a 17-14 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. A two-touchdown performance from Jordan Love was barely enough to earn the win, but scores from Tucker Kraft and Matthew Golden, plus two interceptions and three sacks defensively, was all Green Bay needed to earn the win.
21. Indianapolis Colts (-1)
The Indianapolis Colts helped kick off the Sunday slate in Week 4 with a win, as their matchup in London was all about Jonathan Taylor. Taylor ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns, helping steady a Colts offense that saw Daniel Jones become turnover-happy with an interception and a lost fumble.
While this win helped Indy get to 2-2, there are still plenty of concerns with the offense. Jones looks to be taking a step backwards with his efficiency this year, as he continues to look unsure and uncomfortable in the pocket on passing plays.
22. Pittsburgh Steelers (-5)
The stat sheet does the PIT offense a lot of favors from their TNF loss to Cleveland, as they struggled to move the ball consistently all night. Aaron Rodgers threw three touchdowns, but his two interceptions were costly, as were the five sacks that he took in the loss, as the Steelers are one of the biggest fallers in the Week 5 NFL Power Rankings.
23. Cleveland Browns (+4)
Cleveland helped kick off Week 4 with a late-second divisional win, beating Pittsburgh 27-24. Quinshon Judkins enjoyed a strong performance in the win, turning 23 touches into 96 yards and a rushing touchdown, and Harold Fannin Jr. hauled in his third touchdown on the year, catching three-of-five targets on Thursday Night Football.
24. Houston Texans (no change)
The lack of an established run game continues to make life tough for the Houston offense, as making it one-dimensional puts a lot of responsibility on C.J. Stroud. Stroud threw for 347 yards and two touchdowns, but even that wasn’t enough to earn the win in Week 4.
The Texans remain winless on the year, as their defense was the issue this week, allowing almost 400 yards of total offense. Head coach DeMeco Ryans needs to do something very soon to right the ship, as this season is quickly turning into a lost campaign.
25. Washington Commanders (-2)
With Jayden Daniels already out, the Washington Commanders lost Marcus Mariota to a first-half injury, forcing them to hand over the keys to Athan Kaliakmanis. The former Rutgers QB found Treylon Burks for a long touchdown, but the WAS offense struggled when Mariota was forced out. It remains to be seen which QB will be Washington’s starter in Week 5.
26. New York Jets (no change)
It was far from a strong offensive showing for the New York Jets in their Week 4 loss to the Bears, as 15 pass attempts and 14 rushing attempts just won’t get it done. Geno Smith only completed eight passes all game, and with Breece Hall missing time, Braelon Allen was the lone running back who received a carry. It was not a healthy offensive gameplan for the Jets at all, as they drop to 1-3 on the season.
27. Los Angeles Chargers (-2)
The rain will not stop coming down for the Chargers, as they cannot get things figured out on offense. While they finally showed some fight late in their Week 4 loss, Justin Herbert and company showed up too late, as there are a lot of issues that need to be fixed.
28. Atlanta Falcons (Monday Night Football)
Fresh off a road win in Lambeau, the Falcons are looking to solidify themselves in the race for the NFC South crown in their Monday Night Football matchup with the Saints. Another standout performance from star running back Bijan Robinson will be needed, as he is coming off a strong showing against the Packers last week.
29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (no change)
The Buccaneers still remain winless in the 2026 NFL season, as Jalon Daniels’ first start was a struggle. The Kansas Jayhawk rookie threw for 148 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the loss, chipping in 55 yards on eight carries. Stat-line-wise, he did well, but game-watching-wise, he didn’t look comfortable in the pocket and often left the pocket before going through all of his progressions.
There is a lot for Jalon Daniels to build on from his first NFL start, but there are at least some positives that the rookie can take from it.
30. Arizona Cardinals (no change)
The interception machine that is Jacoby Brissett continues to be the gift that keeps on giving, as he threw another three picks in Week 4. While the high-passing output is great for fantasy football, Brissett is costing the Cardinals wins with his turnover-happy play.
Brissett found Marvin Harrison Jr. and Elijah Higgins for scores, but three interceptions (including on the last play of the game where a touchdown would have won the game) defines his overall performance in the loss.
31. Tennessee Titans (no change)
The Titans showed some fight in the second half of their Week 4 matchup, but they were not able to spring an upset over the Ravens, as they remain winless. Cam Ward looked better in the loss, throwing for 222 yards while only getting sacked once, and his connection with Carnell Tate took another step, as the rookie wideout caught nine passes for 145 scoreless yards.
32. Miami Dolphins (no change)
There is no change to the final spot in the Week 5 NFL Power Rankings, as the Miami Dolphins dropping their fourth consecutive game of the 2026 NFL season shouldn’t come as a surprise. The new-look Miami offense looked pretty rough without De’Von Achane, as Malik Willis was only able to muster 85 passing yards and 11 rushing yards in the loss.
Ollie Gordon II was the lone bright spot for MIA, as he took nine carries for 100 yards in the win, but Gordon and a field goal from Riley Patterson were all that the Dolphins were able to muster.
