Things got ugly at Lambeau Field on Thursday night, with the Packers getting booed by the fans during their worst home loss of the Matt LaFleur era.
Tucker Kraft had one response to the fans after the 35-14 loss to the Falcons.
Christian Watson had another — one that will likely play better to the fanbase.
“I mean, it’s tough. At the end of the day, it’s an entertainment business, so we’ve got to put a better product on the field if we want to have the fans have our back,” Watson said, via Dominique Yates of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Obviously, we’d like to think that the fans will be there through the ups and downs.
“But we’ve got to put out a better performance than that.”
Watson had seven catches for 96 yards with a touchdown on Thursday night.
Now at 1-2, the Packers will be on the road in Week 4 to face the Buccaneers before home contests against the Bears and Cowboys in Weeks 5 and 6.
