The Kansas City Chiefs are up 30-19 late in the fourth quarter in the Week 4 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. While the club is on the verge of another win, all eyes are on the health of Tyquan Thornton.
After making a big play to put the Chiefs in scoring territory, the 26-year-old wide receiver stood up to celebrate getting his team in the red zone. However, he didn't realize until after attempting to get up that his left foot was pointing in a completely different direction (viewer discretion advised for the clip below).
Trainers were called over to assist Thornton after the five-year veteran informed teammate Mike Caliendo that his left leg needed attention. He was eventually carted off the field and will not be returning to this game.
This story is currently developing, and more information will be available soon.
