Patrick Mahomes had a rousing return from his ACL injury, leading the Kansas City Chiefs to a 21-point blowout of the Denver Broncos, 31-10, at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday.

Mahomes went 15-of-27 for 184 yards and two touchdowns, while also scoring on a 15-yard carry in the first quarter.

Kenneth Walker III was also phenomenal in his debut for the Chiefs, tallying 23 carries for 173 yards and one touchdown.

Aside from taking care of business in Week 1, Kansas City also registered a milestone on offense.

The Chiefs rushed for 220 yards, led by Walker. Mahomes ran for 23 yards on seven carries, while Emmett Johnson logged 24 yards on eight carries.

Travis Kelce also made history by tallying the second-most receiving yards by a tight end, surpassing Jason Witten.

Kansas City will try to continue its momentum in Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.
