Tyreek Hill immediately made his presence felt on social media after Tyquan Thornton suffered an ankle injury in the Kansas City Chiefs' victory against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4.

Hill, who is still recovering from a knee injury, has been looking for a team since the Miami Dolphins released him in February.

Due to Thornton's unfortunate setback, which will keep him out for at least four months, a door may have opened for Hill on the Chiefs. The six-time All-Pro starred for Kansas City from 2016 to 2021.

ESPN's Dan Graziano, however, was skeptical about the potential reunion, noting that the Chiefs could be better off with other options.

“Stop me if you've heard this before, but the Chiefs could use another wide receiver. I'm not buying that Tyreek Hill is much of an upgrade over what they have at this point in his career. If players such as Marvin Harrison Jr., Brian Thomas Jr., Jerry Jeudy, or Calvin Ridley become available, the Chiefs should poke around,” wrote Graziano.

The 32-year-0ld Hill has been pushing himself in rehabilitation, stressing that he is ready to come back even stronger after playing only four games last season, logging 21 receptions for 265 yards and one touchdown.

Aside from Thornton, Kansas City is also missing Rashee Rice, who is dealing with a hamstring injury he also sustained against the Raiders, leaving Xavier Worthy, Jalen Royals, and Nikko Remigio holding down the fort in the pass-catching department.

Despite their ailing roster, the Chiefs have remained undefeated at 4-0. They will face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
