You like this, Kirk Cousins? Probably not.

The New Orleans Saints are ready to go into battle against the Las Vegas Raiders at Caesars Superdome on Sunday. Both teams are coming off wins in Week 2, with the Saints beating the Baltimore Ravens, 24-17, and the Raiders upsetting the Los Angeles Chargers, 26-14.

Cousins has reenergized Las Vegas, carrying the team to its first 2-0 start since 2021. He, however, will not have a cakewalk against New Orleans, especially with Chase Young being a full participant in practice on Thursday, as shown in the injury report shared by ESPN's Ryan McFadden.

Young, who is dealing with a calf injury, was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old defensive end had a solid outing against the Ravens, tallying two total tackles, including one for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two quarterback hits.

Young is a feared defender because of his size, speed, and power. His mid-rush adaptability and pressure metrics have continued to improve, making him even more of a dynamic stopper.

While Cousins will likely be unfazed against the Saints, as he has already survived a lot of talented defenses, he will have to be extra wary of Young.

Before the season, the former Defensive Rookie of the Year stated that he is ready to take on a bigger role and help New Orleans end its five-year playoff drought.

“I'm ready. I've been working. I've been playing football my whole life for these types of moments. I'm not the person to shy away from leadership or anything like that. I definitely know that I'm capable of filling the void, and I believe I will,” said Young.

He had a laudable campaign last season with career-highs of 16 assisted tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and three fumble recoveries.
