As Arizona Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love came into the game with an ankle injury from the preseason, there was concern before the contest that his regular-season debut in the NFL would be delayed. With the Cardinals looking to shock some in the 2026 season, Love has already made his stamp on the season during the Week 1 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers.

There's no denying that the Chargers heading into the 2026 season were one of the more hyped teams, especially with star quarterback Justin Herbert now having former Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel as his offensive coordinator. However, not only would Love be healthy enough to play, but he would record his first NFL touchdown on a five-yard run in the opening drive of the game.
