The Arizona Cardinals missed Jeremiyah Love in the 18-16 Week 6 win over the Los Angeles Rams, as the star running back is dealing with a high ankle sprain. With the club set to take on the Denver Broncos in Week 7, the franchise revealed Love's status for Sunday's matchup.

Reports indicate that the 21-year-old ball carrier is officially ruled out against the Broncos, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Love seemingly needs a little more time to recover from the injury before getting the green light to return.

“Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love (ankle) trying to get right after a high-ankle sprain, will miss another game this week. He's been ruled out by coach Mike LaFleur,” Rapoport reported.
