The Arizona Cardinals announced their intentions to trade Marvin Harrison Jr. before Week 5. The young receiver had fallen out of favor with the Cardinals this season. As a result, they elected to move on from the former fourth overall pick.
On Sunday, it came to light that the Houston Texans had won the Harrison sweepstakes. Houston is parting ways with two draft picks to acquire the young pass catcher. After Arizona's loss in Week 5, quarterback Jacoby Brissett spoke about the move.
“It's a person we all have a relationship with outside of football. As much as everyone can say that it's the business, that don't make it easy. That makes it the toughest because it is part of the business. But it's somebody that I know I'll miss and a lot of people in that locker room will miss. I'm sure a lot of us are rooting for Marv,” the Arizona signal-caller said, via Arizona Sports reporter Tyler Drake.

The Lions had their way with Arizona on Sunday evening. Detroit put up over 400 yards of offense as they rolled their way to a 45-21 victory.
The Cardinals surely wanted Harrison to work out for them. Unfortunately, some things just aren't meant to be. The young receiver has a chance to re-establish his NFL value with the Texans. For Arizona, they can start to develop a plan to find their next star receiver prospect.
