After successfully leading the Indiana Pacers to a win in his first game back from his Achilles injury, Tyrese Haliburton is now playing his first game back home in Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Dallas Mavericks. None other than friend and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark was in the house to watch Hali's home return.

While the WNBA Finals are ongoing, Clark and the Fever's season ended in the first round of the playoffs, where they lost to the Las Vegas Aces in three games.
Clark's presence at Pacers games is nothing new, at this point. Her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, was a former player development intern for the Pacers and was the bridge for Hali and Clark to get in touch. The two Indiana basketball heroes and their significant others have since become couple friends and have been seen supporting one another in the other's games.

The game then got chippy as Pacers forward Aaron Nesmith committed a hard foul on Mavs star Cooper Flagg on a dunk attempt. Flagg fell down hard on the floor and seemed to injure his left shoulder.
Naji Marshall took offense to Nesmith's hard foul and got in the Pacers player's face. The two were assessed double technical. Nesmith also got a Flagrant 1 for his foul on Flagg, who was ruled out for the rest of the game. Flagg had 14 points, five rebounds and six assists in 17 minutes up to that point.
