The Nebraska Cornhuskers fell 20-17 to the No. 7 Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday after failing to hold the lead in the fourth quarter. It was a tough loss that was closely contested throughout and continued a rather unfortunate streak for the program.
Reports indicate that the Week 6 loss is the 30th consecutive loss for the Cornhuskers against a ranked opponent, according to Ross Dellenger of Yahoo! Sports. This is the 10th straight season Nebraska has not been able to earn a win over a ranked team.
“Nebraska's 10-year, 30-game losing streak against ranked teams extends: Indiana storms back to beat the Huskers in Lincoln, 20-17,” Dellenger said on X.

Nebraska had more than one opportunity in the final minutes to pull off the upset, however, Indiana's defense stepped up when it mattered most to close out the game.
