The Denver Broncos are keeping an eye on the Indianapolis Colts' situation with running back Jonathan Taylor as the November 10 NFL trade deadline approaches.
NFL insider James Palmer reported on Prime that Denver is among the teams monitoring Taylor's availability, although a trade remains unlikely at this point.
“They are one of the teams that is monitoring the Jonathan Taylor situation. It's still more likely that he stays there in Indianapolis, but they are keeping an eye there,” Palmer said.

Denver's interest comes as the team looks to strengthen its running game. The Broncos entered Week 7 averaging 84.2 rushing yards per game, ranking 26th in the NFL. J.K. Dobbins has struggled to establish consistent production, while rookie Jonah Coleman has shown promise since returning from an ankle injury.
Coleman received 30 snaps compared to Dobbins' 14 in Denver's 30-16 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He finished with 54 yards on nine carries, prompting head coach Sean Payton to call for more opportunities.

Taylor would offer Denver an established lead back. The Colts star entered Week 8 with 765 scrimmage yards and eight rushing touchdowns, leading the NFL in the latter category. He also ranks among the league leaders in touches and has remained one of the most productive running backs since entering the league.
However, Indianapolis has given no clear indication that it intends to move him. The Colts have already traded Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, but Taylor's situation is different because he signed a two-year, $44 million extension in August that keeps him under contract through 2028.
