Denver Broncos running back JK Dobbins entered Thursday sounding elated about his play caller. Dobbins became more energized for coach Sean Payton calling the plays again. Envisioning he would be fed the football against the Seattle Seahawks for TNF.

Sure enough, Dobbins rose as a focal point for Denver's offense.

Payton turned to the veteran while near the goal line and down 3-0. Dobbins located a hole up the right and tacked on six points to put the Broncos ahead.

Dobbins racked up 35 rushing yards on 10 carries before halftime arrived, averaging 3.5 yards per carry. He's sitting at 229 rushing yards through the first five games of Denver's season including scoring once.

The 27-year-old tallied 68 rushing yards on 18 carries with one touchdown on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. And that outing kept the Bolts winless at now 0-5 overall.
