The Denver Broncos earned a big 30-16 Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. It was a bounce-back performance for quarterback Bo Nix, as he got it done through the air and with his legs. He played so well that Nix is now part of an exclusive quarterback club that includes Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson.

The 26-year-old became just the fourth quarterback in league history to record a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown that both went for 50+ yards in a single game, according to NFL researcher Tony Holzman-Escareno. Nix joins Jackson, Justin Fields, and Cam Newton on the list.

Jackson and Fields accomplished that feat in 2022, while Newton did it in 2012. Nix is the first individual to pull off a 50+ passing and rushing touchdown in the same game in the past five seasons.

Bo Nix played a key part in leading the Broncos to their fifth win on the campaign. The former first-round pick ended the day with 222 passing yards, 74 rushing yards, and two total touchdowns (one passing, one rushing), while completing 51.7% of his pass attempts. He spread the ball around to nine different players, with seven of them reeling in at least one reception.

The third-year veteran received plenty of flak for his play this season leading up to this contest. Former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick lit up Bo Nix for his ugly performance in the Broncos' 17-14 Week 6 win over the Seattle Seahawks in overtime.

But Denver keeps winning, and the club sits near the top of the AFC West. Nix and the Broncos move on to Week 8, where they'll take on the Kansas City Chiefs at home.
