Former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was not happy with Bo Nix's level of play despite the Denver Broncos getting a 17-14 win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night.

Nix is going through the third season of his NFL career with the Broncos. He had great success last season by leading them to the AFC Championship Game before a foot injury ended his campaign. He looks to pick up where he left off, attempting to get Denver to the Super Bowl.

The Broncos got the win over the Seahawks, but it wasn't because of Nix. He only completed 17 out of 27 passes for 107 yards, far from his star form last season. Fitzpatrick reacted to the performance on the Prime postgame show, unleashing his emotion about how Nix isn't doing enough to start the season.

“Bo Nix is not playing competitively. It's almost disrespectful to the quarterback position how he's playing football right now,” Fitzpatrick said. “The guy doesn't want to throw the ball, that's fine. He's throwing to the flats, he's throwing behind, but he has no trust from his coach.”

“In overtime, he's got two chances to be competitive, the last one being a designed run for him to run, make somebody miss and get a first down your football team! Now they're in the locker room right now, they're excited they won…he's not playing competitive football right now.”
