Brock Purdy had a strong performance in San Francisco’s victory over Miami in Week 2 and has now been recognized for it.
The league named Purdy NFC offensive player of the week.
Purdy finished the game 20-of-22 passing for 287 yards with two touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown.
According to the NFL, Purdy is the first player in league history to complete at least 90 percent of his passes for at least 285 yards while passing for two touchdowns and rushing for a TD in the same game.
This is Purdy’s third career offensive player of the week award. He also won it in for his performance in Week 11 of the 2023 season and Week 16 of last year.
