Brian Schottenheimer knows the Dallas Cowboys will be busy in their preparation for the trip to Brazil.
Schottenheimer started the second season of his head coaching career with the Cowboys. Missing the playoffs last year, they look to improve by making the postseason.
Dallas is 1-1 to start the season, heading over to Brazil to face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3. Schottenheimer spoke with media regarding the trip and the matchup, knowing the challenges that come with it.
“I’d be a hypocrite if I said I think it’s a tough task. But we’re up to it. We’re mentally tough. We need to be. This is a long season, and I can’t be a win the day type guy and be angry about it. But in reality, it’s a long trip, come home, Houston, short week,” Schottenheimer said, per reporter Jon Machota.
“But we’re going to win today and then we’re going to (Brazil) and we’re going to win Friday and Saturday and play a really good team and hopefully win that. But you got to stay in the moment. It does require mental toughness. The schedule is the schedule and we will play anybody anytime, anywhere. But it’s unique schedule for sure.”

Dallas an offense that is worthy of leading the team to the playoffs. What matters is if they got the defense that can allow them to prevail in big moments during must-watch contests.
Dallas has a 1-1 record to start the season, sitting at third place in the NFC East Division standings. They are above the Washington Commanders while trailing the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Cowboys will look forward to their matchup in Brazil against the Ravens. That matchup commences on Sept. 27 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
