On Wednesday evening, the Milwaukee Brewers punched their ticket to the NLCS with a narrow road win over the San Diego Padres in Game 4 of their NLDS matchup. The Brewers will now gear up to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the next round, with a trip to the World Series on the line.

At one point in the eighth inning, it appeared as though the Padres had tied the game when Manny Machado launched a deep ball toward the seats.

However, Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell was able to make it to the spot just in time and catch the ball before it could land in the bleachers.

Now, the epic moment has been immortalized as a piece of art.

Indeed, Mitchell's catch was quite artful, and the Padres fans behind him were immensely frustrated, as was Machado, who could be seen heading back to the dugout in disbelief amid the epic play.

The Brewers won all three games of this series in relatively narrow fashion, which certainly bodes well for their ability to perform under pressure in the bright lights of October baseball.

Now, Milwaukee will face its toughest challenge yet against the reigning two-time World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers, the same team who swept them in the NLCS a year ago.

The Dodgers enter this series after dispatching the Atlanta Braves in four games in the NLDS, although they do come in limping a bit, with Shohei Ohtani looking like a shell of himself due to a series of injuries and rust.

In any case, the Dodgers and Brewers are slated to get their NLCS matchup underway on Sunday from Milwaukee.
