Brewers show Padres the door to set up colossal NLCS rematch vs. Dodgers

The Milwaukee Brewers took care of business in Game 4 of the NLDS to finish off the San Diego Padres in their best-of-five series on Wednesday. The Brewers beat the Padres, 3-1, setting up a rematch against the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLCS.

Trevor Megill closed out the Padres with a flawless performance in 3 1/3 innings, extending their inspired run, including owning the best record in the regular season.

Milwaukee will look to avenge its loss to Los Angeles in the NLCS last season.

The Brewers, who are still searching for their first title, have not reached the World Series since 1982.
