The Buffalo Bills (2-0) are off to a hot start with 77 points scored through two games, whereas the visiting Los Angeles Chargers (0-2) have only managed 28 points in two home games against the Cardinals and Raiders. Buffalo enters as a -7 point home favorite with the second-highest game total of the week.
Josh Allen is the favorite to win MVP after two games of masterclass football from the Bills offense. Buffalo scored 36 and 41 points and had 855 total yards of offense versus Houston and Detroit. Dalton Kincaid is off to an amazing start with 12 receptions on 14 target for 225 yards and a touchdown. DJ Moore is questionable for this game after five receptions on eight targets, 100 yards and a touchdown in Week 1. Against the Lions, James Cook ran for 135 yards on 21 carries and a score, plus Josh Allen totaled five touchdowns in the 41-31 win over Detroit. It’s safe to say the Bills have the No. 1 offense in the NFL.
The same cannot be said for the Chargers who have scored 14 points in each of their first two games against two of the worst three teams from a year ago, the Cardinals and Raiders. Los Angeles’ offense has 578 yards of offense through two games, five turnovers, a 7-of-22 mark on third downs (31.8%), and 34 first downs. The Chargers have had 23 drives and scored four touchdowns and one missed field goal attempt. The Mike McDaniels experience is not going as planned as Justin Herbert’s struggled with more interceptions (3) than touchdowns (2) and a 59.3 completion percentage. Buffalo likes to get into shootouts, so it’s now or never for the Chargers offense.

Expert picks & predictions for Chargers at Bills
Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) leans the Chargers first half team total Over 9.5 points scored:
“It’s hard to trust the Chargers here and that’s going to be the general consensus, so it’s no surprise we see the Bills laying -7. However, I noticed the first quarter is juiced to the Over and so is the first half team total Over 9.5 for the Chargers. Mike McDaniels and LA have to find something offensively and when matched up against Allen and Buffalo, you have to be ultra-aggressive and go for it on fourth downs or set yourself up for fourth and shorts.
The Chargers are 0-2 and as we know, 0-3 is almost a death sentence for teams trying to make the playoffs. Also, betting is weird. The Chargers lost to the Cardinals and Raiders, which means they have no possible shot at beating the Bills, right? Nothing makes sense in the NFL or betting in general, so I would not be shocked if the Chargers keep this game close or won. If this goes beyond +7, I may be one of the crazy individuals to back LA to cover.”
