Coach Kevin Stefanski's Atlanta Falcons were thoroughly embarrassed at home against the Carolina Panthers, 34-3 in a game that led to Cooper Rush's benching. The Falcons tried to compensate for poor passing in the running game as the well-studied Bijan Robinson ran for 72 yards on 16 carries.

Following the tough loss, Robinson was asked for his thoughts on the boo birds in Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

“Yeah, yeah, you can't focus on it. I love our fans, man, a lot, every single one of them. But if we let ourselves focus on the boos and things like that, that'll creep in our mind and that'll make us have a bad performance…For us, like, it's our job for them to not boo, again, so, I know the emotion that comes with this, and the emotion is high, right now, so it's just our job right now to go out there and execute. So, I don't want to hear that again,” Robinson concluded.

Both Michael Penix Jr. and Tua Tagovailoa sat out a game riddled with broadcast errors that quickly made it an even more forgettable one for long-suffering Falcons fans. Carolina outgained Atlanta 340 yards to 286 yards. The Panthers won the turnover battle 5-0, adding insult to injury for Kevin Stefanski's team.

Thursday, September 24 will bring a chance at redemption as the Falcons are set to face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Wisconsin. Robinson, Stefanski and his teammates have the experience necessary to pull the upset, but they can't let the crowd noise get to the them if they want to play their best.
