The Chicago Bears are in a dogfight in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings, as it's 6-3 in Minnesota's favor midway through the third quarter. Chicago had an opportunity to take the lead at one point, but a brutal fumble from D'Andre Swift led to a turnover instead.

Head coach Ben Johnson called a run up the middle for the 27-year-old ball carrier on the one-yard line in the red zone. The Vikings managed to pop the ball out and fall on it, forcing the turnover in a crucial part of the game.

That turnover just so happens to be the first fumble for Swift since December 2020, when he was playing for the Detroit Lions, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN. It's said that the seven-year veteran snapped a 156-red-zone-attempt streak on that play.

“Swift's fumble at the 1-yard line was his first red zone fumble since Dec. 20, 2020, with Lions (vs. Titans),” Cronin reported. “Swift had 156 red zone rushes between that game and today's.”
