The Chicago Bears will officially be without starting quarterback Caleb Williams for their Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, while backup Tyson Bagent remains questionable for Monday night.
Chicago ruled Williams out Saturday because of the hamstring injury he suffered during the Bears' 9-3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. Williams did not participate in practice Thursday, Friday or Saturday as the Bears prepared to host the Eagles at Soldier Field.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport shared the Bears' final injury report Saturday via X, formerly known as Twitter.

Bagent's status provides some optimism for Chicago after he dealt with a concussion throughout the week. The 26-year-old did not participate Thursday or Friday before returning as a full participant Saturday. Despite that progress, the Bears listed him as questionable for Monday night's game.
With Williams unavailable, Bagent would be in line to start if he clears the remaining steps necessary to play.
Bears face uncertainty at quarterback against Eagles
Williams suffered his hamstring injury during Chicago's disappointing Week 2 home opener against Minnesota. The loss dropped the Bears to 1-1 after they opened the season with a 59-37 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Chicago's final injury report also ruled out linebacker Noah Sewell with an Achilles injury and defensive lineman Shemar Turner with a knee injury. Both players were limited throughout the week.
The Bears now face a difficult test against an Eagles team that enters Week 3 with a 2-0 record.
Chicago will host Philadelphia on Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET at Soldier Field, with the game airing on ABC and ESPN. The Bears' quarterback situation will remain a major storyline leading into kickoff, with Williams sidelined and Bagent carrying a questionable designation.
