The Chicago Bears finally got some good news about their quarterbacks as the latest Tyson Bagent injury update is that the backup QB has cleared concussion protocol and should be available to play in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles. If Caleb Williams' hamstring keeps him out of this game, Bagent will likely get the nod over Case Keenum.
“Bears QB Tyson Bagent has cleared concussion protocol and is practicing today ahead of Monday night’s game vs the Eagles,” ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Saturday.
The Bears-Eagles game is on Monday night, though, so we may not have the final word on who the Chicago starter will be until after all the other NFL games are played on Sunday.
