Ben Johnson's Chicago Bears faced the New York Jets in Week 4 action, enjoying a monster day from Kyle Monangai that was marred by the running back's thumb injury. Monangai and D'Andre Swift helped the Bears control the clock in a 23-12 win engineered by backup QB Tyson Bagent that was as dominant as they come.
Benjamin Solak of ESPN shared the gist of the Bears' accomplishment as they kept New York's offense off the field en route to a relatively easy win.
“The Bears had *89 PLAYS* to the Jets' 32 today. That's only the fourth game since 1970 with a play differential of 57+, and the first such game since 1999. That's dominance,” Solak said.
Chicago sacked Jets QB Geno Smith three times and passed for 260 yards behind backup QB Tyson Bagent, who took over for last week's unexpected hero Case Keenum. Bagent bounced back from a concussion-related scare earlier this season, showing why he won the backup job over the veteran Keenum in training camp with a strong performance.

Johnson's Bears are looking like one of the NFL's most well-rounded teams heading into October 11's road game at Green Bay, where they will arrive as marked men. The Packers have ruled the division for years but the Bears are showing they have what it takes to contend for a Super Bowl appearance in Johnson's second season with the team.
Green Bay almost certainly won't fold as easily as the Jets did, although the Bears have the talent to flex their muscle and produce a similar outcome, especially if they get healthy in time for their showdown at Lambeau Field.
