The Seattle Seahawks are set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7 in Kenneth Walker III's first game against his old team. Nick Emmanwori and Uchenna Nwosu's injury status vs. Chiefs

While both Nick Emmanwori and Uchenna Nwosu are both questionable with hip injuries, ESPN NFL insider Ian Rapoport has reported that the two of them are expected to play in the game. Nwosu was added to the injury report earlier in the week along with DeMarcus Lawrence.

It's a promising sign for the Seahawks defense that both Emmanwori and Nwosu are trending toward playing. Emmanwori has been a key member of the unit, with 23 total tackles and two sacks on the season. Meanwhile, Nwosu has 15 tackles and a sack to his name.

Amid the Seahawks' struggles this season, their run defense has been one of their big strengths. They are allowing just 3.5 yards per carry and have given up just four rushing touchdowns through their first six games.

However, that unit will be put to the ultimate test against their old friend, Kenneth Walker III, who is currently the league's leading rusher with 665 yards. And as if stopping Walker III wasn't a difficult enough task for the Seahawks defense, the threat of Patrick Mahomes always looms when facing the Chiefs.
