Rams head coach Sean McVay said early in the week that defensive tackle Aaron Donald was trending toward a return to the lineup against the Bills on Monday night and things remain on track in Los Angeles.

Donald moved from limited to full practice on Friday and confirmed at a post-practice press conference that he is planning on taking on Josh Allen in Week 5. Donald said there have been “no setbacks” while knocking on the podium and that his back is in much improved shape than it was a week ago.

“I feel good,” Donald said. “I feel a lot better than what I was.”

Donald did not play in Week 1 as he was still ramping up after deciding to come out of retirement. He had four tackles, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit in his two appearances before sitting out of last Sunday’s win over the Eagles.
