San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was arrested during the offseason after responding to a fake online ad tied to an undercover prostitution sting. He has not been around the organization since the incident, and it appears he'll be away from the team for a tad longer after the NFL's latest announcement.

Reports indicate that the 46-year-old was given a six-game suspension from attending any 49ers games, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Additionally, York is being fined $500,000 for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy.

“Just in: San Francisco 49ers principal owner Jed York has been suspended for six regular-season games and fined $500,000 for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy,” Schefter reported.

York has already missed the club's first three games of the season, and it's said those three contests will count toward his six-game ban, per Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. He will be allowed to attend games again by the team's Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

“49ers owner Jed York was away from the team for the first 3 games of the season, and as a result, that will count toward his 6-game suspension,” Meirov said on X. “So today's announcement is really a 3-game publicly known suspension.”
