The San Francisco 49ers hope to have veteran wide receiver Mike Evans available for their game Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Evans is dealing with rib issues.

“Mike Evans was able to practice late this week despite a rib injury and said he’ll do his best to be out there. The team has expressed optimism, though as George Kittle noted, “Fractured ribs suck,” NFL insider Ian Rapoport posted to X, formerly Twitter.

The 49ers are undefeated this season at 3-0. Evans has 12 receptions this season with two touchdown catches. The veteran wideout has posted 137 receiving yards.
