The Atlanta Dream will be facing the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA Finals, and they've gotten contributions from several players to help them get to this moment. Angel Reese is one of those players, as it was her first season with the Dream after being traded in the offseason, and it's also her first time in the playoffs.

So far, it's been hard to tell that this is Reese's first time in the postseason, and everything she's done on the court shows that she's ready for the moment. That's why it comes as no surprise that the Dream have made it this far, and as long as they continue to play their brand of basketball against the Valkyries, they have a good chance of winning the WNBA championship.

After winning Defensive Player of the Year, Reese would love to add some more hardware to her trophy case, but she'll have to bring it every game against a tough Valkyries team. Here are some bold predictions for Reese ahead of her first-ever finals appearance.

Angel Reese will average 20 PTS and 10 REBS in the series

In all three regular-season games against the Valkyries this season, Reese averaged a double-double, and that trend should continue in the finals. The Valkyries do have the best defense in the playoffs, but they haven't faced the Dream yet, who have scored the most points per game in the postseason.

Reese is a different player now than she was when they played the Valkyries, and she should be ready to take on whatever they throw at her. She's also shown the relentlessness on the glass, so getting double-digit rebounds won't be a problem for her. As far as her scoring, she's developed more of an offensive game throughout the season, which will lead us into the next bold prediction.

She will average two 3-pointers a game

Ever since Reese arrived in Atlanta, head coach Karl Smesko has made an effort to help her develop a perimeter game. She didn't shoot many 3-pointers in the first two years of her career, but this season, she's had the green light to let it fly. As the season has come along, Reese has looked more comfortable taking the shot, and it's opened up the Dream's offense.

She was able to hit at least one 3-pointer in every game against the New York Liberty in the semifinals, and she'll look to have that same success against the Valkyries. Teams are still sagging off her on the perimeter, and as long as they do that, they're giving her the confidence to shoot the shot.

Reese will continue to make history

Reese already became the first player in Dream history to win Defensive Player of the Year, and she's set to make more history with the franchise if they win the title. If Reese plays at a high level throughout the finals, she'll give herself a good chance to win WNBA Finals MVP, making it the first time that someone on the Dream has ever won the award.

It's been a lot of firsts for Reese this season, and it wouldn't be a surprise if she continued to do so if the Dream win the title.
