Arsenal vs Aston Villa betting tips and selections: Best bets for Premier League clash
Premier League leaders Arsenal host fellow title contenders Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, with the game live on Sky Sports Main Event.
It’s set to be an enthralling contest in North London as the table-topping Gunners are just three points ahead of Unai Emery’s side, who have won eight straight league matches.
In fact, Mikel Arteta’s outfit will be out for revenge after the Villans inflicted a first defeat since August on Arsenal as Emi Buendia scored an injury-time winner in a 2-1 victory at the start of December.
Our three best bets for Tuesday’s Premier League clash are below.

Arsenal vs Aston Villa betting tips
- Both Teams to Score @ Evens
- Morgan Rogers to score anytime @ 7/2
- Martin Zubimendi to be booked @ 7/4
Both teams to get on the scoresheet
Only Manchester City have scored more goals in the Premier League than leaders Arsenal this season, with the Gunners drawing a blank just once, in a 1-0 defeat at Liverpool back in August.
Arteta’s side have found the net 10 times in their last four home matches and will be confident of scoring against a Villa side who have failed to keep a clean sheet in December.
The Villans, meanwhile, have scored two goals or more in each of the last six matches and face an Arsenal side who have conceded in five of their last six matches at the Emirates Stadium across all competitions.
With both sides showing impressive scoring form while also letting goals in at the other end, backing Arsenal and Villa to both score on Tuesday, as they did at Villa Park three weeks ago, could prove a smart pick.
Rogers to maintain scoring form
Villa’s winning run has put the club firmly in the title race heading into 2026 and when it comes to battling for top spot, matchwinners are crucial and the Villans certainly boast a goalscoring talisman in Morgan Rogers.
The winger has scored four goals in the last three matches, grabbing braces in victories over West Ham and Manchester United.
Rogers has shown he can produce something from nothing and so Arsenal will be well aware that the frontman is dangerous, particularly on the edge of the area.
Villa may be restricted to limited opportunities on Tuesday, but if Rogers can get on the ball in advanced positions, Emery will know his team has a chance of scoring.
Zubimendi to go in the ref’s notebook
Martin Zubimendi will be tasked with tracking Villa’s runners and so the Arsenal midfielder may be at risk of fouling the opposition in a bid to halt attacks.
With that in mind, the Spaniard could well be booked in what promises to be a frantic game.
Zubimendi has already received six yellow cards this season – three in the Premier League and three in the Champions League – so looks a sound pick to be cautioned in this clash as top meets third.
