Anthony Black’s huge game vs. Hornets a testament to the Magic’s versatility
Anthony Black turned opportunity into production for the Orlando Magic. In a 120–105 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, the guard put up 24 points on 8-of-17 shooting, hit four threes, and added three rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes. The Magic dropped to 17–14 and sixth in the East while the Hornets improved to 11–20 and secured back-to-back wins over the Wizards and Magic.
Coach Jamahl Mosley again pointed to why Anthony Black matters for the Magic. Speaking with Sports Illustrated’s Ryan Kaminski, he said, “I come back to the versatility of the group… staying ready when your number’s called.” Mosley added, “You’re never really out of the rotation… you’re going to be needed.”
