Ally’s Acca fixtures
- Newcastle vs Bournemouth
- Fulham vs Middlesbrough
- Doncaster vs Southampton
- St Mirren vs Falkirk
The Magpies should be able to pick the Cherries apart this weekend in the third round of the FA Cup.
Bournemouth won late on against Spurs midweek but it will be a different kind of test in front of a big crowd at St James’ Park.
Newcastle are up to 6th in the league now with three wins on the bounce and can carry that form over in all competitions.
Fulham welcome Championship opposition in their FA Cup clash, which though Boro are second in the table the difference in quality should still shine through.
Fulham are ninth in the table and have proven difficult to break down at times which should also be the case here.
Southampton have been struggling in the Championship this year after relegation.
But they face a Doncaster side in much worse standing in League One, as they sit 23rd with just 23 points from 24 matches.
Doncaster are without a win since their FA Cup 2nd round win over Chesterfield on December 6th, which for the last half hour was against ten men.
In the league the Dons are without a win since November, when beating fellow relegation rivals Peterborough.
Falkirk have nine points over St Mirren and it’s a gap that could be expanding further.
Falkirk have won two of their last three in the Premiership while St Mirren are on a bit of a losing run.
