Michael Busch completed a double in need of a cycle and the Chicago Cubs opened a nine-game street journey with an 8-3 win over the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night time.

Within the Washington third, Jose Tena led off with a stroll and Daylen Lile doubled to place runners on second and third. Tena then scored when Abrams grounded out and Lile got here house on a sacrifice fly by James Wooden to make it 3-1.

The Cubs shortly tied it once more. Pete Crow-Armstrong doubled main off the fourth then stole third. Carson Kelly reached on a fielder’s alternative with Crow-Armstrong holding at third. Busch made it 8-3 when he homered main off the seventh.
