The New York Pink Bulls introduced the signing of Canadian defender Raheem Edwards on Thursday.
The 2-year deal is pending receipt of his worldwide paperwork and consists of an possibility for 2027.
Edwards, 29, has eight objectives and 28 assists in 177 MLS matches with Toronto FC (2016-17), CF Montreal (2018, 2024), the Chicago Fireplace (2019), Minnesota United (2020), Los Angeles FC (2021) and the Los Angeles Galaxy (2022-23).
“Raheem has a variety of expertise in MLS and has received every main trophy in MLS in his profession,” NYRB sporting director Julian de Guzman stated. “His expertise and management can be beneficial to our roster, and we’re excited for him to get to work with our workforce.”
Edwards received the MLS Cup and Supporters’ Protect with hometown Toronto FC in 2017.
“Raheem is a superb person who has a confirmed monitor document in MLS, and we’re excited to have him with us,” Pink Bulls coach Sandro Schwarz stated. “He has a terrific potential on either side of the ball, and we’re trying ahead to getting him on the pitch with us quickly.”
