Los Angeles Rams rookie defensive lineman Braden Fiske could have surgical procedure to restore a knee damage sustained in Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed Thursday that Fiske was injured within the season-ending 28-22 divisional playoff loss at Philadelphia.
Fiske’s restoration from the process will not be anticipated to have an effect on his availability for subsequent season, McVay stated.
Fiske, who turned 25 final weekend, was named a finalist for Defensive Rookie of the 12 months honors on Thursday.
The 2024 second-round decide led the Rams and all NFL rookies with 8.5 sacks and completed with 44 tackles, two pressured fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 17 video games (eight begins). He added 1.5 sacks in two playoff video games.
